The neurology department at The Jackson Clinic in Montgomery evaluates and treats conditions of the brain and spinal cord, including concussion, brain and spinal cord injury, headache and seizure disorders. Most patients arrive by referral from a primary care physician; a board-certified neurologist reviews the history and performs an exam that may assess vision, strength, coordination, reflexes and sensation, with CT or MRI imaging and EEG available at the clinic or at Jackson Hospital. Longer-term cases may be managed with a multidisciplinary team including physical, occupational and speech therapists.
