The HSS Concussion Program, part of the Department of Neurology at Hospital for Special Surgery, uses a multidisciplinary, active-rehabilitation approach for concussion in patients of all ages, from youth and collegiate athletes to active adults. Its neurologists, neuropsychologists, physical therapists, and athletic trainers tailor care to each symptom profile with headache management, vestibular therapy, graded exertion therapy, vision-based therapy, and cognitive strategies, plus return-to-school, work, and sport guidance. Evaluation may include neuropsychological testing and balance and oculomotor assessment, and virtual visits are available.
