The Scripps Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center, part of Scripps Encinitas Rehabilitation Services, provides outpatient, interdisciplinary rehabilitation for people with traumatic brain injury including concussion, as well as stroke and other neurological conditions. It offers comprehensive evaluations and a day treatment program that helps adolescents and adults return to school, work, and community roles, and can also help those with milder injuries who struggle to reintegrate. Patients work with physical, occupational, and speech therapists, an audiologist, and social services, with therapies tailored to individual needs; a physician referral is required.
