Northwestern Medicine Concussion and Sports Neurology Program

About

This academic program is staffed by sports neurologists who evaluate and treat acute concussions, persistent post-concussion symptoms, and other brain and nerve injuries in active people of all ages. Services include baseline testing, headache management with targeted therapies such as nerve blocks, electrodiagnostic testing, and counseling on long-term brain health including CTE. Care is coordinated with physical therapy, occupational therapy, neuropsychology, orthopaedics, sports medicine, and rehabilitation medicine, with teams in downtown Chicago and the northern suburbs.
