Loyola's concussion clinic can evaluate patients within 24 hours of injury and uses a team approach for adults, adolescents, and child athletes. A rapid-response group of specialists from medicine, neurology, and neuropsychology, trained to manage traumatic brain injuries at any age, consults together to build a coordinated, individualized care plan that minimizes the need for multiple appointments. Patients can reach the program through Loyola's Sports Injury Hotline whether the concussion came from an accident, fall, or sport.
