About

The Safe Concussion Outcome, Recovery & Education (SCORE) Program at Children's National Hospital evaluates, monitors and manages concussions in children, adolescents and college-age student-athletes, ages 4 to 22. The clinic is staffed by neuropsychologists and post-doctoral fellows who use specialized testing and symptom assessments and collaborate with neurology, behavioral medicine, sleep medicine and physical therapy. One of the few pediatric-focused concussion programs in the greater Washington, D.C. area, SCORE also conducts research and community education, and makes detailed return-to-school, play and work recommendations.
