The Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan, part of the Detroit Medical Center, is one of the nation's largest physical medicine and rehabilitation providers and treats brain injury on a dedicated neuroscience recovery unit. A multidisciplinary team of rehabilitation physicians, physical, occupational and speech therapists, social workers and rehab nurses delivers inpatient and outpatient care. The program, which also has teaching and research affiliations, is geared toward moderate-to-severe brain injury recovery for adults and children.
