A multidisciplinary concussion clinic puts vestibular, vision, headache, exertion and cognitive care under one roof with one team coordinating the plan. It is the right starting point when several symptom types overlap, or when symptoms have already lasted months.

Concussion care fragments easily. A patient with dizziness, headache and screen intolerance can end up with three separate referrals, three waiting lists and nobody holding the overall plan — which is how someone spends eight months getting worse in a system that is technically treating them.

What a multidisciplinary clinic changes is sequencing. When the same team assesses the vestibular system, the eyes, the neck and exertion tolerance, they can decide what to treat first rather than treating everything at once and learning nothing from it. That coordination is the product; the individual therapies are broadly the same ones delivered elsewhere.

This is also the sensible default when you are not sure what you need. If the symptom picture is mixed, or the injury was more than three months ago, starting here is usually faster than guessing at a single specialty and being referred onwards.
